Join us for "Stargazing with Vic's Telescopes" at the beautiful Casalinga function venue in Muldersdrift. This serene location features expansive open lawns, the perfect escape from the city. Make the night even more special by indulging in a delicious meal or drink at Casalinga’s renowned restaurant, either before or after the event. Take aways are also available if you'd prefer a picnic under the stars.
Through powerful telescopes you'll observe the majesty of the moon and even get a chance to take a pic of it with your phone through the telescope! You'll also be able to observe Mars, constellations, double-stars, asterisms and star clusters (including the Heart Cluster for the romantics!).
Your guide, Vicus Cruywagen - a passionate telescope maker and observer of the night sky - will kick off the night with a fascinating talk about the universe and the wonders you’ll be observing. Then, you’ll have the rare opportunity to view these celestial marvels through high-powered telescopes.
